	The Office of Institutional Compliance has developed several handbooks and forms to help ensure that DePaul's faculty and staff know what the university expects of its employees. These resources can be referenced at any time and will frequently be updated. Additional resources will also be created, so check back to this page for the most up-to-date compliance tools. Management Standards Handbook - This manual outlines department head and budget manager responsibilities and summarizes pertinent university policies and procedures. (Download file in PDF format.) Manager Control Self-Assessment Certification - The certification is the formal document that all budget managers are required to complete annually to certify that they are following DePaul's policies and procedures, adhering to applicable laws and regulations, and upholding the university's standards. (Download file in PDF format.) Manager Control Self-Assessment Checklist - The checklist is similar to what a Quality Assurance Reviewer uses when conducting a Quality Assurance Review (QAR). It can be checked on a monthly basis to ensure that a budget manager is regularly in compliance. The checklist can also be used to prepare for a QAR or when certifying compliance. Manager Control Self-Assessment Worksheet - Budget managers can use the worksheet when preparing for a QAR or as a way to determine if he or she is properly conducting business as a budget manager. (Download file in PDF format.) "Two Sets of Eyes" - This document explains DePaul's delegation of approval authority requirement and its "two sets of eyes" procedure. (Download file in PDF format.) FERPA - The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) includes many specific guidelines for universities to follow regarding academic records. This document provides tips to ensure the university's financial activity report is accurately maintained. (Download file in PDF format.)
